Our story
From one trade to six ranges

MedicBen was founded in Batna in 1999 under the name MEDIDAC. It began with a single trade — medical gas systems — at a time when most Algerian oxygen networks were imported turnkey, with nobody on the ground the day an alarm went off.
That gap shaped the company. Rather than reselling equipment, MedicBen built its own workshop and learned to manufacture what it installs: bed head units, regulation plants, technical doors, laboratory furniture. Manufacturing locally changes two things no catalogue can replace — lead time, and having the spare part on hand.

The ranges were added one after another, always on the same logic: equipping a healthcare facility is a single job. An operating theatre means gas outlets, a sealed door, a washable wall finish and lighting. Treating them separately multiplies the contractors — and the finger-pointing when something goes wrong.
What sets us apart
A manufacturer, not just a distributor
Part of the range comes out of the Batna workshop. That is what allows a bed head unit to be adapted to an existing room, and a spare part to be delivered without waiting for a container.
Built to the applicable standards
Medical gas pipeline systems are built to ISO 7396-1. Testing, pressure trials and leak checks are part of the job, not an optional extra.
National reach, local roots
The head office and workshop are in Batna; the sites are all over Algeria, from the coast to the deep south. Teams travel, maintenance included.
One contact from drawing to after-sales
Design, financing, installation, commissioning, training and maintenance sit under one contract. When something goes wrong, who is responsible is never in question.
